The 2016 Chevrolet Traverses is a large crossover SUV. With the Traverse, there are several trim levels and sub trim levels available. For instance, the three main trims are LS, LT, and LTZ. The sub trims are 1LS for the LS and 1LT and 2LT for the LT trim.
As far as the engine is concerned, the Traverse offers a 3.6-liter V6 engine that delivers 281 hp and 266 lb-ft of torque for the LS and LT trims. The LTZ receives the same engine, but adds a bit more power with 288 hp and 270 lb-ft of torque. Drivers have the choice of front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. A six-speed automatic transmission comes standard.
The base 1SM trim gets you 4G LTE connectivity, front and rear air conditioning, 17-inch steel wheels, charge-only USB ports, a OnStar telematics system, cruise control, roof rails, automatic headlights, a CD player, Bluetooth®* audio and phone connectivity, a rearview camera, a 6.5-inch touchscreen display, a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, 60/40-split folding second and third row seats which adds extra cargo space, a six-speaker sound system, an auxiliary audio jack, and a rear spoiler. The LS gains satellite radio.
The 1LT provides rear parking sensors, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, heated outside mirrors, 18-inch alloy wheels, fog lights, remote start, an eight-way power driver seat with two way power lumbar, and more.
The 2LT offers the MyLink infotainment interface, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, heated front seats, tri-zone automatic climate control, headphone jacks, voice controls, a 10-speaker Bose audio system, Internet radio app integration, a power liftgate, and more.
The top trim, the LTZ, receives 20-inch alloy wheels, a blind-spot monitoring system, leather upholstery, power-folding mirrors, forward collision warning, driver seat memory function, rear cross-traffic alert, ventilated front seats, a heated steering wheel, lane departure alert, an eight-way power front passenger seat, and a navigation system.
